EEEEE! LOL! I'm SO happy right now! You guys will NEVER guess what just happened to me! I am literally bouncing off the walls. I AM GOING TO BE A JUNIOR HANDLER! So here's how the night goes....

I was calling around to different breeders, GSDs, Akitas, Schauzers, etc. And NOBODY is doing or looking into doing Junior handling. I really want to get into it, because I hope to be in the show ring in the near future, so why not start early? Looking at our area's kennel club for breeders nearby, I type out the names, print off the list and start calling. I reached a lady at a place called MooseLake Reg'd at she told me that.....

she would be VERY interested into starting Junior Handling, and I sounded like a girl who is very educated and knows her stuff in the "Dog Category"! I felt so flattered. She is looking into it right now and is going to call me back later tonight or if not then tomorrow. I'm so anxious!

Wish me luck that she wants to start and will take me, and that all goes well and such! Can anybody guess the breed that I might be handling by the colour of writing, I'm writing in?

Can't wait until I hear back from her. Also, if I could get tips from all those other handlers out there, it would be appreciated!

AGHHH!!! CONGRATS! My parents have JUST NOW stopped telling me not to talk about it when I try to explain all it involves, and when I told them the best jr. handler in the state gets a $1000 scholorship they said maybe I can contact one of the Am Staff breeders in our area, there are about three.
And as for colors, is it a GSD? I love them!

Nope, its none of the breeds listed. The breed comes in these 3 colours. Its very popular and is used WIDELY amoung people who have disabilities and such. That just gave it away!

That would be so amazing to Handle Staffies! We don't have any in our area...NO KIDDING, its banned! I haven't looked into prizes though!
