    When do the schools start in your area?

    I thought it would be interesting to see when the schools start for everyone! I'm actually on a different schedule than the public schools, since I'm starting August 22nd, but the public schools are starting next week here!! I am in shock at how early everyone has been starting the last couple years! But anyways, even if you aren't in school, when does school start? (if that makes sense, lol!)

    My school doesnt start until September. I cant believe how fast that's coming up though I'll actually be going school shopping this weekend, its too soon!

    If I were going back this year, which I'm not, I would be starting sometime in September. (and finish in april heh)

    My step daughter starts Sept 1st. I think it's stupid to start the kids before Labor Day but oh well.

    I voted for this week because the system where I worked last year starts this week. The public schools in the county where we live started last week. (They are on a modified year-round schecule.) The private school in our county starts next week. I am kind of relieved that I am getting to stay home, otherwise I would have started pre-planning TODAY. (That's only 2 months off!!)

    August 30th, I think.

    We had to wait until June 28th to get off though! HORROR!


    Of course, 27th for me, as I played skippy skippy on the 28th.
