Back from dogsitting my hairdresser's dog.....(pics)....

The shelties and I dog sat my hairdresser's dog this last week. He is an elkhound/GSD cross. His name is Mailik....pronounced Muh-leak. I call him Leaky... lol

    Anyways onto the pics...

    Posing together in the house...

Running in the off leash park before work (yes he came to work with us every day)...

Posing together on a walk around the neighborhood...

    Just the boys...

    All 3 again...

Is he young? He just looks really small for what I was thinking an elkhound and german shepherd dog would mix to look like! An elkhound is a medium to large sized dog, right? He's gorgeous, though, regardless.

No he's full grown... and elkhounds are medium sized dogs... approx 50 pounds giver or take... which is what he should be... if he wasn't overweight... lol

I know he doesn't look much bigger than my shelties, but i have bigger than normal shelties too..... lol

When my hairdresser first got him I thought he was an elkhound keeshond cross.... but after spending time with him I did see the gsd in his face....
