    Tour de France '05.

    Here we go again.

Let's spend the month of July on a bike trip of 2,200 miles (3.600 kms) through France, with just two days of rest during the whole shebang.

Since this is Lance Armstrong's last TDF. He's gonna be riding with the whole world on his back.

I'm excited just thinking about it.

    Go Lance!

Although I don't watch the T de F, but this year may be an exception. He's always been an inspiration to me, given who I work for.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

The whole family got hooked on it last summer, I am sure this summer will be no different. When we got home from the lake last night it was the first thing my hubby put on the tv. GO LANCE!!

Lance is there in the peleton....waiting for the Alps..

We do see the Tour. But it's not a big thing here in the states.

Only the hardcore bike people watch.....

Lance did make a statement to Ulrich in the time trial....

Did you get to experience the sound of the peleton firsthand???

That's one way to get a yellow jersey.....crash your teammate....

Lance in first place and George Bush never made the finish line.

Did Lance crash? Last I heard he was leading the race.

Always thought George needed training wheels. What a
    klutz.

No, It was the his teammate on the Discovery Team that took the header........he cut a corner to sharp....

I'd pay for a clip of the GWB header....he hit a cop too!!!

    Dear Laura Bush,

If you let George crash on a bike you will not become president.

The cruelest thing on the planet is a parent who takes the training wheels off a boke and proceeds to push their kid down the street on a bike....

Surely, you can't do that to the president......

I heard he crashed because he refused to turn left. LOL.

The cop he ran into had a broken ankle.

    Riding a bike.

    We all have done it.

It's getting home before the sun goes down.
It's taking your hands off the bars.
It's riding up a huge hill.
    It's coasting down hill.
    It's riding with your friends.
    It's racing your friends.
It's your hair in the wind.

It's beating cancer and putting your name in the record books.

    Thanks Lance.
