    Rollerblading

I'd like to learn how to rollerblade. I know, I'm old and fat, but I'd still like to learn, but I'm a little afraid of falling down.

Does anyone here know how to do it and can you give me some advice on how to get started?

I bought some roller blades a couple years ago and roller bladed all summer. It was not hard to learn, and I think I've only fell once in my life so unless you feel really shaky on them, I don't think you need elbow or knee pads.

I'd buy a mediocre pair to begin with.

I'm not really sure what to tell you on 'getting started', maybe you could just go in a less crowded area until you feel comfortable.

    Good luck!

Wear knee and elbow pads and gloves. I haven't learned, either, and, I know I'd be buying all that stuff. Good luck!
