I'd like to learn how to rollerblade. I know, I'm old and fat, but I'd still like to learn, but I'm a little afraid of falling down.![]()
Does anyone here know how to do it and can you give me some advice on how to get started?![]()

I bought some roller blades a couple years ago and roller bladed all summer. It was not hard to learn, and I think I've only fell once in my life so unless you feel really shaky on them, I don't think you need elbow or knee pads.
I'd buy a mediocre pair to begin with.
I'm not really sure what to tell you on 'getting started', maybe you could just go in a less crowded area until you feel comfortable.
Good luck!

R.I.P. Hanson. You will never be forgotten, and we await the day to see you once again. The imprint you left on my heart will never fade - your big beautiful brown eyes, your big soggy kisses...
Wear knee and elbow pads and gloves.I haven't learned, either, and, I know I'd be buying all that stuff.
Good luck!
