Recycling?

I bought a new digital camera this week (Canon Power Shot A510) and want to recycle my old, broken, HP Photo Smart (I tripped and fell on my Niagara Falls tour, the camera came out worse than I did), but am coming up short searching the 'net for recycling centers for electronics. Does anyone know where to take electronic goods for recycling?

Try going to a local computer shop. A lot of times, they will have a sign on the window that says that they are a computer recycler. I know that our local computer recycler will recycle digi cams and such as well as normal computer components. I'd try to go to a smaller, locally owned and operated shop, as I've noticed that the bigger chain stores (Comp USA, Best Buy ect.) won't handle computer recycling at all.
