We have an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler that is 4 years old - and he behaves exactly like your dog - even in puppy pre-school he was 'the genius' of the class!

He still automatically goes in his crate when he sees we are getting ready to leave; he is very smart and has a very extensive vocabulary - we have to say "w" when we want to talk about going for a "walk" because he gets very excited. Pretty soon he'll figure that out too - he figures everything out eventually.

Our dog is LOTS of fun and never boring - so you have lots of happy years ahead of you, just be sure to keep her busy; one great game to play inside is 'hide and seek' - hide a toy and say "find it" and watch how smart this breed is!! It doesn't take very much 'practice' for this breed to learn anything.
