Love letters to your cats (stolen from Dog side)

I thought it would be sweet to write little letters to our furry ones.

Callie,
I cannot imagine not having you in my life nor do I know what I did before we found you. You brought hope when there was only misery and pain and for that I will be eternally grateful to you. When your grandpa died, I was a wreck...more than that I did not want to go on in this world. Pawpees found you and I had something to love again; this little bundle of orange fur did not care if I was sad or depressed. All you cared about was getting lovies, belly rubs, and having someone to entertain you. You made me smile and laugh when all there had been were tears.
I love you wholey and completely; you are my kitty soul mate and I know there will never be another like you. You are loud, obnoxious, destructive, constantly complaining about something but you are also my love muffin, my back scratchee, my purr-purr. I look forward to being witih you for many years to come and when the day comes that we must separate, I will be devastated but I know we will be together again someday. You are my heart and I love you more than anything in this world.

you are such a little pest,at times,and every once,in a while You can drive me nuts,with MEEEEW MEEEEW,MEEEW,
But I love,to see Your Spirit,and no matter,how much,You annoy,the Other Found Cats,you all seem,to end up,in a pile,together.
And I wouldnt trade you,Little One,for anything,as You are such a link,to My Dear Mr Scrappy,and I know,that he,from The Rainbow Bridge,enjoys You,too.

Doogie,
You have stolen my heart in a very short time. I was so excited to be getting a kitty again and even more so since you were a PT kitty. You were a very good traveler. That first night in the motel room, I expected you and Duke to have it out with each other. But you both behaved beautifully. This is what I got instead:

You are an amazing kitty and you have a funny sense of humor. I just love it when you "attack" Duke and then take off running. Just yesterday, you jumped up with both front paws on his back and then shot off like a bullet. Duke paid you no mind and just kept walking. I just laughed at my most special creatures. I love how I've trained you to be a lap cat now. You know I'll have your favorite treat, yellow Whiskas Temptations. You just purr and purr when that happens. I look forward to the day when you'll stay even longer in my lap. I also love the way you sometimes wash Duke. I always wish I had my camera handy at that moment but it passes so quickly. Yesterday, you were also washing his back legs while he was standing in the kitchen. I love you, hernia cat! I call you that because you turn floppy when I try to pick you up. 19 pounds of floppiness is hard to get off the floor! I also love the way you play fetch with your toy. You are just too cute and I'll treasure our time together always.

Noah James...

You are my heart kitty...my first furbaby...the one who showed me how truly wonderful cats can be. The cat that turned me from a "dog person" to a "cat person".

I love you because you're sweet. You make me feel needed when you cry when I leave the room you're in. When you help me shower and get ready each morning, I know in my heart you love me just as much as I love you.

I know you don't always trust other people and I wish they could see "My Noah"...but then again, I feel special because you are free to totally be yourself with me and that's neat.

I LOVE when you fall asleep on my head...purring me to sleep. I LOVE going to bed at night and waking in the morning because you are how I start and end my days. ♥

I'm better because I have you in my life, sweet boy.

My sweet Basie Bee...

You are, at the same time, a bratty AND an incredibly sweet boy.

You act bratty when you feel you aren't loved and I'm sorry if something I've done makes you feel that way. Even though you/we live with four other cats, you'll always have a very, very special place in my heart and soul.

You are the sweetest little boy. Always there to greet our guests and warm their laps. I know you make everyone smile that gets to meet you.

I know that with you around I'll always have a warm lap when I'm in the potty...and a constant bath time companion.

Your purr is the loudest I've ever heard and it makes me smile when I know I'm the cause of it.

Like Noah, you begin and end my day...thank you, sweet boy.

I don't know what I'd do without you.

My Angel, Micah...

What can I say to my little kitty soul mate that you don't already know?? We're so connected, its crazy. You are the reason people turn into "crazy cat ladies/men"!

We have our health issues in common as if we needed anything else to bond us. I have so much empathy for you and you have an AMAZING way of knowing when I need you to come "heal" me with your purring and laying on my pain. You are such a dear. You are my angel...

You gave me the greatest compliment...only have the will to live if I'm around...how sweet is that? You are "the perfect cat"...truly, honey. You are a quiet, sweet and gentle boy...and I feel blessed to have you.

It seems like we were meant to be together, its so great.

I love when I come home and you greet me with your little meow...then flop each time I look at you. ♥

I'm so glad we were meant to be...my life is happier and lighter because of you, sweetie. And that's the greatest thing.

You are my sweet, little girly girl and I love you dearly! I'm so glad we belong to each other, I just can't tell you how much I love you, Pee Pee girl.

I love how you flop when you see me, cry for me, and knead the air at me. I love how you HAVE to be around me whereever I go...and how you greet me at the door each night.

You are the perfect little girl cat. You look great in pink, love special pink beds, walk girlie and require attention and respect.

I love your "I want food" meow and your "I'm SO going to kill this mouse" meow. You are so cute and keep me soooo happy.

I knew from the second I saw you at the shelter, you'd be my pal for life! You are much more than "just a cat", you are friend! You get up with me in the morning and suffer through although I know you would be much happier to just sleep. I live for that sweet little meow you give me when I come home from work and for the headbumps and cuddling while we watch TV.

When my parents got you, I couldn't believe my eyes. Was this a dream? My parents did think I was allergic but thank God I am not. You kept me up at night listening to your sweet self purring. I knew we were meant to be. You're such a mommy's boy and I love you so much! You haven't been in my life long but you sure wormed your way into my heart. You're such a cutie even though you can have an attitude sometimes

My dearest Bassett,

Although you are gone from this world, I know you watch over me from where you are now. You are my inspiration, my reminder of why I do what I do, my soul kitty that lives on in my heart with each beat. When you first got sick I was sure I couldn't go on. I was numb with grief and pain. I screamed at God and kept asking why. Then I was blessed enough to get help from amazing people, and was able to get you the surgery you needed to get better. Although it only lasted a year, it was what it took to teach me my life's dream. Caring for you and struggling through your recovery taught me not only that I wanted to work in the veterinary field, but also taught me the compassion it takes to help people who bring in their own sick children.

Sometimes in the quiet moments I still hear your bell jingling down the hall. When I feel the most distraught I can hear you meow and purr. When I'm in that place between sleep and awake I can feel your warmth at my feet on the bed. I know you are still here, still motivating me especially on the days where I desperately want to give everything up. You remind me to keep going on by reassuring me that we will in fact meet again.

There will be more that come into my life and take up a special corner of my heart, even though I'm sure that makes you jealous

But know that no matter what, you loved me first, taught me the most important lesson, and gave me my dream. Your short time with me was so full that it will last my lifetime in my heart, and I can't wait to see you again.
