Look what dad and I made today..*6 pics*

I've had this idea for quite a while..
Today my dad and I finally did it. We plan on hanging these on the fence, probably with the large one at top, then chain the Simba, Nala, & Kiara to the bottom.

I painted them and did the final touches. (I found some pretty paints that I had bought a while back)

All three finished. I still need to go and buy some clear coat to put on them so they don't ruin. Then we're going to hang them.





BTW, if anyone's interested in one my dad said we could figure out a cost that would work for us and you. I told him that these would probably sell well if we wanted to, as the pet business is booming.

I like the purple too. I had to make that out of Simba's blue and Nala's pink.

Those look really cute! You know, I'm becoming more and more fascinated in hand-made things. They have a history and have meaning, either to yourself or to those that receive them. This spring, David made me a wooden cedar planter for the deck and I just love that thing so much. I'm looking to get more ideas of simple, (somewhat inexpensive ) things to make for Christmas/birthday gifts. I've been given a few hand made gifts and always really treasure them.

Anyway! Didn't mean to go off on such a tangent! I think they turned out very nicely. You and your Dad should think about setting up a booth at one of those craft festivals if you have those down there (they are very popular up here!).

Hehe, We just drew straight lines and then traces spray paint cans for the nubs.
