Do you ever go back to read ....

.... old threads, when nothing much is happening here? I just did, and I enjoyed it immensely! Ok, perhaps it's funnier when you know the members, but still ... newcomers can get an idea what PT was like, then.

With so many members, threads disappear so fast.

Yes, I do that. Just today, I read through the catolympics thread. A classic! Although I still haven't heard Fister's pathetic miaow. I've never read that thread while I've been on a machine with speakers! I really must sort that one of these days.

Yes, I do. Usually it's when I'm searching for an old subject
or particular thread. I get sidetracked into reading some others.

    I remember Fister's miaow.

Karen, you'll surely get to hear Fister one day.

Sara, yes along with others, the Cruise was quite funny.

Liz, I also often get sidetracked, but today, I went back to page 6-700 just to see what was going on then. There are quite a few good threads from back then. Btw, your post was one of the first I replied to, as far as I remember.

How neat. You don't remember the name of the thread
do you? Doesn't matter really. I agree, we've had a lot of very
    good, sometimes funny, threads before.

    I've done that quite often.

One Saturday afternoon, I clicked on the "last" page of the General section then started reading forward every 5 pages or so. Two hours later I returned to earth and started my housecleaning.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

LOL! Sara, what better excuse can you get to avoid work?

    Liz, I found the thread:

    Save more cats!

    It was started by ILOVECINDER.

Btw, we haven't seen Purley for a long, long time, and also Anti Pam.

Slick, that was just what I was doing - clicking on the last page. You really do get sidetracked.

It's also fun to see which threads are the longest, you can do that by clicking on replies at the top in each Forum.

Same here. And I love reading the old thread, expecially the ones I missed the first time around.
