Wow, I actually really really like his color. He is a multicolor veil, no? Where did you get him? Oohhh we have another gorgeous PT betta! I can't wait for mine! I have decided that if I see any nice multicolor "mutt" veils at petsmart I'll just get them and a kritter keeper because I really don't have enough extra $$$ to be buying fancy plakats from Thailand and paying $30 for shipping when the equally friendly and good lookin' veil boys are only $3.49! Anyway, on about the betta situation again, but I just wanted to say, Libby is gorgeous, and of course, multicolors are tied with marble as my favorite color!

He's gorgeous! But he's definitely a male . Females never have fins that long. Not all males make bubblenests either, it just depends on their individual drive to breed, and can have to do with age too. He's really a unique looking butterfly
