Earlier this month I got Kia the kiddie pool I've always wanted to get her. She's not as enthusiatic about it as I had hoped. I guess the mud puddles and swamp smell better.
But she does jump in and out of it occasionally while running around the yard. For the most part, she'll only get in it if I stand in it. Ah well.
Here are some pictures of when she first got it (before a storm blew in and sent us inside):
I just love those eyes...she's beautiful. I don't think MAXIMUS has ever been in clean water, well, like a pool. Just creeks, the lake, and our backyard lake when it storms. Do you think he'd react the same way?
Awww! What a lucky girl!!! I'm sure she'll be ready to "swim" for real in no time!!!
My girls are jealous...they want a pool too (well, one their own size) - but probably only to drink out of though

Maybe Kia will love her pool more with time. Nebo wasn't that interested in the kiddie pool we filled up at Kay's house....but at home when he's been running and it's hot outside he'll go nuts splashing, turning in circles and biting at the water. Try putting some fun stuff for her to "fish" for in it....ice cubes, baby carrots, etc.......Nebo loves carrot fishing lol. I love the pic of Kia looking up at you, her eyes are so gorgeous. The video is adorable too.
