Earle is 6 today! How time flies. The first time I saw Earle he was only a few hours old. I wasn't getting a puppy at the time, just went by to visit Muskwa's kids. A few weeks later, Earle picked me when he crawled out of a pile of puppies to nurse on my fingers.
This is the only puppy pic of him I have scanned. He was about 10 weeks old. It's exhausting being cute!
Earle's a great dog, everything a husky should be--funny, silly, outgoing, friendly, gentle and kind. He adores kids and even goes with my husband to do presentations at elementary schools. He has assisted me with skijoring demos and is a pretty good sled dog. He's the first dog every newcomer here meets. Earle has never met a dog didn't like.
This is how he's spending his day--hiding in the house from the rains outside! Happy birthday, my special boy.
And Hoodoo, you were taken from us far too soon. We miss you and love you.
