    Prayers and good thoughts for K9Karen

    Our friend, Karen (K9Karen) had major surgery on her back today. I just spoke with her friend, John, and he reported that the surgery lasted about 3 hours and that the surgeon said it went beautifully. Thank goodness!

    Please keep Karen in your prayers in hopes that she will have a smooth recovery and have a more comfortable life going forward. She will be in the hospital for several days and then recuperate at home. Her mother has been placed in a nursing facility for the duration of the recovery since Karen will be unable to care for her. Please keep Blanche, Karen's mom, in your prayers as well.

    I'll update you as I learn more.

    Oh, today's the day! Glad the visit with Sir Jury went went, and I hope her recovery is swift and complete! She'll be in my prayers (No, God - the other, other Karen - yeah, Cody's and K-Lo's mom - that one!).

    Thank you Logan. I just got on the computer and was so glad to read your update. She has been in my mind and in my prayers all day. I believe her hospital stay is to be for about a week and I hope Klo will do well in her absence. They are like two peas in a pod so I know she will wonder where her mama is. Prayers still going up for the whole family.

    John did say that as soon as he got to see Karen, he was headed to her house to take care of the dog! LOL!!!! I told him he had better take good care of my namesake and he said "You might come close to being as smart as she is". Hehehe!!!

    to pray that all goes well with her recovery. I hope her Mom has

    Thanks for the update, Logan. Here's hoping she will be feeling an immediate improvement as she did when she had the surgery on her neck.

    Karen, I hope you're doing as well as can be expected. I'm sure Klo will make good nurse. I hope you're healing goes well. Duke sends get well wishes, too. Email me when you are feeling well enough to.

    Logan thanks for the info on how Karen's surgery went. I'm glad to hear it all went off without a hitch. Now if her recovery goes as well!
