    Max's trip to the beach *PICS*

    I went to the beach today with a friend and her pound puppy, Max. Max is a cute little Benji look-alike terrier mix and is such a sweet and mellow boy. I've known him since her family adopted him and he's now 12 years old, but doesn't look or act it. Enjoy the photos...



    This is Rabbit Island - although this is a poor angle for seeing its resemblance to a rabbit's head...












    Max blends in with the sand...


    My favorite picture of the day! ( too bad it's off-center )


    It was perfect "beach weather" today. Yay for state holidays!

    WOW!! So, that's Hawaii, gorgeous. Max is a cutie too and he does blend in quite well with the sand. He still looks like a young'in. Those beach pics are stunning. I love em and Max.

    Kater, I hope you realize you live in Paradise. To see those views just for a day would be simply amazing to me. And Max is adorable. Definitely he could pass for a Movie Star. I love the one picture with the wind in his face.

    I live on the island of 'Oahu and these pictures were taken at Waimanalo Beach on the windward side of the island.

    And just to keep things real...we hurried out of the water as soon as we saw a Portuguese Man-of-War (a stinging marine organism similiar to jellyfish) floating in the water. Despite getting out at that time I was still stung in two places on my back thanks to strong onshore winds bringing the jellyfish in. So...everything is not always perfect in paradise...
