Tea leaves

Was talking to an owner of a pet shop at the weekend and he asked me if I drank tea I said yes lots of it,so he told me to empty the tea leaves over my dogs food as this was good for there coat, have you heard of this.

The potential for residue caffine in the tea leaves would in itself be cause not to do it.

If you are worried about the coat then supplement the diet with fish oil. For the most part a good dog food will provide all that is needed for a healthy coat.
