are growing by leaps and bounds! Annie is allowed to run all over the house now, along with Shadow. Watching the two of them together is absolutely hilarious. My husband said that Shadow was in the window sill the other day, and Little Orphan Annie wanted desperately to join him. She jumped onto the curtain, and had to hang on for dear life! As it swung, she ended up hanging onto it with just one paw, and finally let go.
They wrestle with each other quite a bit, and Annie tries to convince us with her cries that Shadow is hurting her. But in watching real closely, we notice that she starts crying before he even touches her!When we intervene and pry the two of them apart, SHE attacks HIM as soon as we let them go! Listening to the two of them run through the house reminds us of what a herd of elephants might sound like.
Annie likes to sleep right beside her biggest brother, Oreo (our "Chocolate Beagle") sometimes. She isn't afraid of anyone or anything at this point. She also comes into our bedroom and snuggles up to me during the night quite often. Shadow does that, too. They are a couple of little love bugs when they want to be.
