We made the 1st of the 2 moves

Well the first move is complete. We packed up all the kitties and moved into my mom's house and will be there until our new house is built, which will hopefully be ready sometime in October.

The babies made the move really well....actually better than I expected. When the time came to gather up everybody I was amazed to find that Mystic was already waiting in her carrier and so was Gabe. Everyone was loaded with ease and no problems. I packed everyone into the car, put on some classical music and away we went. I was so upset to find after taking pictures of everyone packed into the car that the disc that I was using ended up with fatal errors on it and I have no pictures of the gang in the car.

But I do have pictures of everyone at "grammies" house. Please keep in mind that I realize that this is not the best set up fot the cats but it is the best that I can do for now. My mom has 8 kitties of her own and I was not about to just throw everyone in together on the first day..so my babies and myself are on the porch....they get wonderful sunlight and a really nice breeze....and the best part...I set up my camping bed so I can sleep outside with them everynight.

Accomodations look perfect! A kitties dream - lots of toys and comfy places to hide and all the sunshine and yummy breezes to sniff that they can handle.

So glad the first leg went well and everyone is settling in well. How about Tucker though? How did she take it all?

Also wondering about the classical music. Do you think it made a difference? Just curious because we've discovered that CJ does not like riding in a vehicle and I thought this might be an idea to get him to settle down.

It is good to see your babies Meg!! They are so happy and well adjusted - healthy!! Hope you pass the time happily until your new home is ready! How exciting

Everyone looks content and relaxed in such a short time! I'm so glad the move went smoothly, and the kitties will enjoy all that sunshine and fresh air for a few months. I can't wait to see pics of the new place.

I think their new sleeping arrangements are marvelous! What more could a cat ask for? Lots of windows and a good breeze. I think *I'm* jealous!
