This has been a tough year for our therapy group, and today we lost another. Bailey was a 10 year old lab/chow mix, and the sweetest girl you'd ever want to meet. A lot of the visits we did, she and her dad were there too, until she announced her retirement last month. She had both liver disease and canine dimentia, and today it got the best of her.
Bailey not only worked hard as a therapy dog, but she also worked with her mom at local archery club. She touched the lives of so many, and will be deeply missed.
In our last newsletter, when Bailey announced her retirement, she shared some of the things she learned in her years as a therapy dog. I want to share them, cause there are some good lessons....
