    What is she?

My good friend got her a puppy last week. I will be doggie sitting her pup starting today until Thursday. She is getting ready move into another house this week. So she wants me to keep her pup until she gets in her house. She was living in a apartment but she is going be staying with her parents which do not like dogs, until she gets in her own house.

So we decided that I would keep her until she gets in her house. She knows what breed the pups mom was but does not know what the dad was.

I'm going see if someone else can figure out what she is mixed with first. I'll give little bit of a hint her mom is a big breed.

Tori and Lucee (the pup) have became good friends already. So now Tori has a new friend to have playdates with.

    Anyways here is Lucee

Looks like a cattle dog mix to me. She has brindle markings, so she'd have to have something with the brindle gene in her. I would guess some type of hound. So I'd say Australian cattle dog scenthound mix. Cutie pie.

edit...look at these cattle dog/hound mixes. They look kinda like her.

I'm horrible and guess dog breeds. But to me she looks like a Dane maybe with some pointer.

Ok, give few more hints the mother her breed is used for guarding lifestock. They come in few colors, white being the main color.

Edit to say: we believe she is part pointer or some kind of hound.

She's gonna be a BIG girl - just look at those paws!

I see a little german shorthair pointer in there - the ears and the small spots.... maybe. something about her reminds me of our neighbor's dog, Max, who is a GSP.

but puppies change so as they grow - time will tell!

Whatever she is, she is a cutie pie! lucky you to get to 'borrow' her for a few weeks!

Thanks, Amanda, for the wonderful siggy and avatar!

I'm afraid I couldn't hope to guess, but she sure is a pretty girl.

We believe she is also going be a big girl. She does look like she might possibly have some German Shorthair Pointer mixed in her. But whatever she is mixed with she is a pretty and very sweet girl.
