    Finished Backyard!

We finally finished our backyard today. There used to only be a small area of grass on the other side of the pool, now theres over 7000 square feet more!! yay! I'm soo excited, because I can set up Gonzo's practice agility stuff there. The people before us had this whole huge area and the huge sideyard filled completely with rocks T_T. it was so ugly, and you couldnt even walk through it. My Dad had 5 guys come over to lay out sod and now its done!!!

I feel stupid for not having before pictures. In the second picture where that line of sand is, it was all rocks beyond that. Gonzo likes it a LOT! It was really funny, because he was out there "helping" all of the guys and doing tricks for them. . most of them were really nice, there were like 4 guys in their 20's/teens that loved Gonzo and then there was one guy who was older and really annoying. He was super loud and scared Gonzo, and Gonzo growled at him, which is VERY strange for Gonzo. . I was mad and put him inside. Then a few minutes later, they were eating and I went outside and they were all talking about Gonzo's tricks and how smart he is (), and the annoying man was saying, "that dog CANT be a pure Collie, he looks more like a terrier-spaniel mix to me. . blah blah. . I know everything" then he was talking about his dog, a Keeshond, and saying that his dog wasn't smart but at least it isn't mean! Then, he started asking me about training his dog. He told me that his dog keeps going potty in the house, no matter how much he beats him and rubs his face in it!! and he also said the dog gets into the trash can, even if he gets beat for it!! I was saying "Oh my gawd Dad, I don't want that person near my house!" he was such a horrible, revolting person. . . I really think Gonzo must be an awesome judge of character, he almost never growls at people. I have to learn to trust him sometimes, from now on ^_~

LOL. well, I just thought that was cool. I have a few other random pics from today. . .

thanks, Pike and KYS!! yess, privacy fences are good. . we have tons of trees/bushes around a lot of the fence for even more privacy. And in that square in the corner where the bag of mulch is, we're planting a lemon tree that'll be awesome!

Pike, I know, I dont even know his name but I definitely told him that rubbing your dogs face in its accidents after the fact will do nothing, and beating him is horrible and will only create many more behavior issues and fear. He was really stupid. I'm shocked, because he owns a really nice restaurant in Folsom never going there again. I'm proud of Gonzo, he really hated that guy and he could tell he was a jerk right away.
