We're in a tornado warning, and there are tornadoes to the north, west, and south-west of us, on the ground. There are a lot of clouds with rotation in them, and the worst part of the storm has become stationary to the north of us. It looks like it's starting to come back to the south a little, toward us. I sure hope nobody gets hurt or even killed, and that the worst of the tornadoes stay in rural areas! We're right on the southeastern edge of the system. We have put Sandi, Oreo, Angel, Shadow, and Annie all down in the basement until the all clear is given. We should be down there too, technically, but we have weather radios and can hear the spotters and can see the clouds to the north, west, and south-west of us. We'll head for cover if they look like they're coming any closer to us. The sirens are sounding again now. Tornado developing 11 miles west of us and heading our way at 20 mph. We think it's time to go back down in the basement about now!![]()
