Naming your pets after TV characters.

Thinking about all the pets we have, I came to a startling conclusion...we've named a majority of our pets after Star Trek characters!

We have Barclay the cat, George and Gracie - 2 6" Oscar fish,(named after the whales in ST IV) Data and Lore - 2 Bettas, and Spot - another Oscar.

Have you named any of your pets after TV characters? (or are we just weird?)

It's nice to meet another Trek fan, Spencer. Tribble is a cute name. I may have to get another pet just so I can name him that. *hubby walks into the room, ready to kill me*

lol I've seen that around, I think.

Spencer, I think we're the only ones who have adopted this "habit". Wanna form a club?

No you are not weird, I named my cat Tatty Bogles after a scarecrow in a British child tv programme.

    Exactly.

Darn, now I need a new cat named "Spock", a dog named "Worf", and a hamster named "Tribble".

No, its not weird. I named my rat Master Splinter after wise old rat from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I named my Australian shepherd after Antonio Banderas, he was Antonio Bandito (Bandit). I think its cute to name from movie/tv stars.
