Kurby
End of the month deadlines at work have kept me quite busy and away from here, but I wanted to share with you what Kurby did this morning. He jumped into bed (which he has done this before but would jump down as soon as anyone would move) and lay there for a long time letting me pet, caress, talk, and he even started purring. He just seems so content here now. I don't think he misses the park life what so ever. He still is skittish and runs with any quick movement, but he's made so much progress.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
