Dearest Calli, I hope and trust that you were patient with your new mom and dad when they first got you. They were hurting from the loss of your predecessor. When Genevieve left us, we thought we were going to wait until autumn to find a new cat, but the house was just too empty and lonesome. So, when we found Archie, we pestered him with attentions, just because it felt so good to hold a cat again. He didn't seem to mind, but I think he's happier now that he has three siblings to share the workload. You are a beautiful girl, Calli, and I wish you many, many years of health and happiness!

Pretty Calli, I very much enjoyed your letter to us today . It sounds like you have truly found a wonderful forever home. Oh I know they claim to have found you, but you know how that is right? I'm sure you did much to heal the hearts of your people who were mourning the loss of their dear Bootsie when you came to live there. How tolerant of you to let them hold you close and lavish you with affection, even if you weren't always in the mood.
