Get Involved with Your Humane Society Speech

I am starting to gather the information about the speech.


My Topic is going to be

Getting Involved with your Local Humane Society


My Three paragraphs I am going to talk about are A brief overview/history of the humane society, Adopting a pet and
if you can't adopt, there are always other ways to help.


I think I am going to start off by saying

Did you know that over 40 Million (or whatever the number is) Pets are forced into living at the humane society?

and then ask this question

Did you know that half of those healthy animals are put to sleep because of the shelter being overcrowded?

and Then I'm not too sure what i'm going to say in the introduction..


Do ya'll think I'm on the right track with my speech? What do you think about the paragraph topics and the questions.

Any Advice, Good Luck Vibes( I need lots of those lol), Suggestions, Comments are really appreciated.
