I have another new foster. His name is Sampson and he is a 3 yr old, 8 lb., neutered Yorkie. His mom is moving to Colorado and couldn't take him.

She and her son delivered him to me today. He's really nervous and we're being very calm and cautious with him. Her notes said he nips at people and dogs, but so far I've not seen it. Of course, I'm not leaving him alone with my puppers until I know for sure. She also said he's better with women than men. Dick is playing it low key and not pushing the idea. He's waiting to let Sampson get close to him.

Sampson is going for a haircut tomorrow. He has really long hair that is tangled and I don't want to hurt him by trying to comb it. I'll get a picture after his cut.

Took him for his grooming today. She did as much as she could and then he got very anxious and she felt it would be better to stop. I definitely agreed.

what a HANDSOME BOYY! there will be people lined up to adopt him! ^_^ awesome job taking in the poor little guy, it's so sad to hear that such a sweet, adorable dog was so neglected. . . it sounds like it is definitely for the better that his "owners" had to "move"

Sampson has been adopted by a retired couple from Nebraska. They are coming tomorrow to pick him up. I'll miss him but I'm so happy to see him go to someone who will love him!!

Samson is a real cutie, and it's so great to see him go to a home so quickly.
