I wrote this poem for my Mom 2 years ago for Mother's Day, that I thought I would share for all you wonderful and caring Moms out there! It all came from the heart!Its also for all those children who think the very same for their mom! Enjoy!
They are special and loyal,
they can be forgiving or can be royal.
She watched you all through the night,
and made sure your shoes fit just right.
She woke up at 1am to show you that she cared,
and checked under the bed, for monsters when you were scared.
She will sweep your house from top to bottom,
and button up your coat in the coming autumn.
She clipped your mittens to your sleeves,
and helped you out when you jumped in the leaves.
She watched over you like a hawk,
and she helped you find your "special" rock.
She read you your favourite nursery rhyme,
and made sure you had a wonderful time.
Mothers are a special gift, they are of a very rare breed,
if you even think about it, its something that you need.
These preicous times that you spend together are slowly fading away,
show her that you care on this very single day!
So I am thanking my mom for doing so well on me,
I just want one more cut, so she can bandage up my knee!
Thank you SO much Mom! I will always love you!
