    Unhappy RIP Sweet Ashley



    Sweet Ashley went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday (April 19, 2005). She was 13 years old (estimated age, could be older).

    She was rescued by my SIL's father. When Ashley was a puppy, she belonged to a woman who was in an abusive relationship. The BF used to lock her in a closet for hours at a time. Harry (SIL's Dad) took her in.

    Ashley lived a long wonderful life. She was taken to the ER Vet because her kidneys were shutting down. The vet was doing surgery on her and found a very large cancerous mass in her abdomen. My SIL made the decision to let Ashely go.

    RIP my sweet girl. I will miss your wagging tail and our long walks after dinner.

    RIP Sweet Ashley. You are now young and healthy and free to roam and play in the sweet meadows of the RB.

    I am so sorry for the loss of sweet Ashley,, she looked so happy in her pic,,,,,, hugs to your family......

    Bless you Harry for taking her from that terrible situation....

    Yes, her face is precious and happy.

    How wonderful to hear that your family took her in and gave her a long life that was happy and she was well loved.

    Relax now sweet one - enjoy all of your new friends at the RB. Your humans will greet you again one day.
