*March OHIO Meeting -- DATES??*

This is what i've come up with for Amy, My dad, Nebo, Kiara and I for our trip to Ohio...

Tuesday.. March 22nd - Drive to OH
Wednesday.. March 23rd - OH
Thursday.. March 24th - OH
Friday.. March 25th - OH
Saturday.. March 26th - OH
Sunday.. March 27th - OH
Monday.. March 28th - OH
Tuesday.. March 29th - Drive home from OH

I've compiled a poll as to which dates we'd be there, and which would be the best for a meeting in Findlay.

Minus the driving dates (and the 23rd) - please, those of you who would intend on coming - vote for which fits best.
I DO have school starting on the 28th, so these are the days that work best for us to be in Ohio.

I'm hoping to atleast see a few people there, even if it isn't the regular big crowd.

I just wanted to add this idea I have...

I think it'd be a ton of fun!!

Whichever day we pick..
We could have someone take easter eggs and hide them around the park - the people and their dogs walk around picking up the eggs (each egg could have a milk bone in it or something) - and whoever gets the most eggs would get some sort of "grand prize" or something.

Amy and I think it'd be A LOT of fun for both dog and owner, and just something to ponder about. I thought about it a while ago.

I think that I could probably make it to any of those dates. Just as long as I have 2 weeks notice (3 would be even better) so that I can get my request in at work. My boss is pretty good about giving me days off. Even if I can't I can always *cough, cough* call in sick

I think an Easter Egg hunt sounds wonderful and festive! I'm in!

I think my first choice would be Saturday, the 26th, but I could also do Friday or Sunday.

That being
1) Easter weekend (I thought we had decided that that wouldn't work or was that just Ohio people - that might be a big family day for people)
and
2) my weekend to work there is no way I can make it Sat or Sun.

I looked in the other thread and I didn't see where she said anything except she couldn't do it on Easter....but I could have missed it.

Staci I was really hoping you would be able to make it. Do you think Friday the 25 is possible for you?

Well, it doesn't look too good for me.

I can't take any time off work, and I couldn't even leave after work because I am 3 1/2 hours away from the park.
Saturday would work... but as some of you may know, my hubby is working is Las Vegas, and that being Easter weekend, he is flying home for the weekend.

The only thing that could work out would be if my hubby can not find a cheap ticket home for Easter weekend, then I could join you at the park on Saturday. I could not do Sunday, it's Easter, and I spend time with my family for the Holiday.

(unless I am really really bad and call in "sick" to work one day )

I'll keep an eye on this thread so I know when you all are getting together!!

I am off work that day, but Ralph is not. The dogs I could make it, but he probablly couldn't. That is why I said Saturday would be better, but Friday is definatley do-able

I'm so excited!!! We'll finally get to meet Nebo and Kiara & everyone!
Any day is good for us, since we live here. I don't have my March schedule for work at the mall yet, but I'll swap days off if I have to! Friday's good, Sat.'s good, even Easter is good for us, but I know there may be alot of people doing family stuff then. Love the idea about the egg-hunt, we'll just have to watch to make sure the dogs don't eat the plastic eggs too!!!

I'm not going to vote I think as long as I know soon enough ahead (like here soon) I'll be able to get whatever day off. And I'm also taking a couple days off while you all are here so whatever day would be doable for me

Saturday would work best for me.

My family doesn't really get together for Easter anymore. No big family plans on my side... however, I know the religious holidays are big on Andy's side, so it'll probably be just Kia and I coming down for the day if we can make it.

Maybe Donna would like to come along for the ride....

The only thing, since Amy and I will be traveling from a LONG distance away - we will not be able to supply all of the food, drinks, and so on. As well as reserve the pavillion. Would anyone like to help us with that?

I don't have a problem reserving the shelter...and it is looking like Saturday? Should I go ahead with that.

I'm sure all us Ohioians can come up with food. If all else fails, we will order some pizzas

If everyone who's going to attend is interested in the "Easter Egg Hunt" - I could buy and bring the supplies/prize/ect for that.
