I don't even bother buying toys for my cats anymore. They prefer milk rings and water bottle caps.

Buying toys? Whats that? They love anything they find themselves. No kidding! Empty boxes, milk jug rings, the caps from hairspray, crinkled paper... you name it. As soon as you buy them something they don't have an interest in it! Its a cat law!

Seriously though, the hit toys are those racetrack type things where there is a ball inside a circular track, and they bat the ball around. They always love the feather wands too. Mine go nuts for those little furry mice. They also love the balls with bells in them. Hope that helps

We have a cardboard box that Manda Smokes sausage came in abot 1 ft X 4 inches, cut out a hole on top and put catnip and toys in it. They have had a BLAST with that box and Amy really gets serious about getting the toys out to the lengths of chewing and ripping the box...

Tried attaching a video but it is to big...

    paper bags
    boxes
    crinkled paper

What I do with all of my animals is I rotate their toys so they don't become bored of them.
I also freshen them up in the dryer or in the sunshine, which gives them new smells & they are interested in them agian.

Yes, this is a good idea. I try to do this and it helps.

sarifish - if you hide the trackball racer for awhile - I bet it would be used again!! I think that is a favorite toy at my house.

I have to keep the green pet groomer put away - and then it gets lots of use when I bring it out!!. Can't remeber what it is called but it has placed for the kitties to rub, massage and "clean" their teeth!
