For those coming to the Kelowna meeting...

I was asked to supply some pictures of the campsite where we will be staying (if you decide to stay the night -- or if you just want to spend some more time there that day, whatever).

I also have lots of pictures of some nice scenery around the campsite, like the creek. Pictures of the animals that live around there, the other cabins, etc. If anyone would like to see those, let me know!

This is the Rednexx Lodge. It’s what I call the dance floor (it used to be huge and spaced out and used just for dancing). My grandpa is wanting to expand it so it can be used for dancing again. This is where the hot tub, karaoke, foosball, etc is.

The inside. My family kept trying to pose LOL. That’s my aunt waving/

The hot tub..It looks smaller here than it actually is.

    Foosball..

    My mom wouldn’t move lol.

    More coming…

This is one of the cabins I’ve booked. It’s called the Longhorn. It’s the largest cabin there. It has three double and two single beds. It also has two separate rooms.

    The kitchen

Living room (that couch folds out into a double).

    The other room

    More pics coming..

Here’s the other cabin I’ve reserved for us..It’s called the Gunsmith lol. Sorry about the mess out front. Someone was staying in the cabin. I had to sneak in to take the pictures LOL.

    Looks a little bare lol.

    Horrible wall colour…LOL.

That's all. Once again, if anyone would like to see pictures of the scenery, the animals, etc, please let me know and I'll post those as well!

    The cabins look great!
I'm very excited even though it's ages away.

Of course I would like to see the scenery, but then you already knew that.....

I was too lazy to upload every pic lol. Here are some more anyways.

On the way, there’s a lot of nice scenery. Tons of mountain and trees. This is 8-Mile Ranch. There are hundreds of horses there.

Here are just some pictures of around the campsite..

Yeah, the Halloween decorations are still up LOL. So are the Christmas ones.

There are alot of antiques like these around there..

    More coming..

Here's Tuck. He lives right in the area. He's so hard to get pictures of. I had to place my camera in front of him while I stood behind him lol. Those are my legs.

    In the distance..

    More coming still

    Pics on the way back.

You can see the lake there.

Keep in mind that it will look alot different in the summer -- no snow for one lol. There will be lots of green, and the sun will be shining! It rarely rains in Kelowna, so no worries there.

    That's it!

LOL...Well, the closest bathrooms are...outhouses. But for anyone who is squeamish about that, my grandpa's house is just up the road. I'm sure he won't mind if we pop in to use his bathroom lmao.

Jynnelle always drags me with her to stand outside the outhouse while she pees, and I bug her by telling her that there's someone down there who is going to grab her. You think she'd learn...

I've got a full supply of Dixie Chicks karaoke...

Hmmmmm......outhouses (pit toilets) or pee in the bush? Seems I've done my share of both in my time.... I guess I can cope. Warming up my voice to and from work in the car every day. Looking forward to it, Sis. Luv ya.

Luv ya too! Sorry I forgot to call you when I got home from Van. I'll just tell you now -- we drove on the Coquihala through a blizzard. My aunt was freaking out the whole time. Cars were slipping and sliding everywhere. We got lost once and accidentally ended up on the road to Hope, but it was worth it because we got to see a bunch of hot army guys. I got home and my animals are FAT. That was about all lol.
