Here's the tabby mama that surprised me by giving birth to four little ones on Wednesday. All seem to be doing quite well, although mama isn't eating as much as she should be.

Cuteness overload! I love little kittens like that. I need to make it back up to the SPCA so I can pet some. They are so sweet. Glad the mama is basically doing ok. Maybe she'll start eating more soon.

Oh those babies are adorable! What fond memories of when I was little and my grandmas cat had kittens in her hall closet! Thus the beginning of my being a cat lover!

I've been giving MY mama boiled chicken livers. She LOVES them!! I've also been giving her Science Diet dry kitten food. My vet gave me a whole bunch of it.

Adopt A Special Needs Pet
I keep chicken livers in my freezer for trapping, and am thawing that, and chicken out to encourage her to eat more. She's on a mixture of Eukanuba Kitten, Science Diet Kitten, and Friskies kitten dry...all babies, and nursing moms get all they can eat of the stuff. I generally mix up a number of different dry foods for all the cats here, so they don't end up picky eaters when they are adopted out.Originally posted by moosmom
