    I'm going home..

Did I ever mention that after all the BS at work, the traffic on the way home and the bills I find in the mail box that my heart jumps when I hear that little f@rt meow when I walk up to my front door????

    Heaven on earth.

I hear ya Richard. I hear major whining all day long and when I get home the whine I love the most is Max yelling for dinner. Does my heart good.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

For me it is the QUIET!!! I hear dogs barking, sometimes non stop, all day. To come home to the quiet of cats is bliss. And purring is a sound for sore ears

Awww that is so darn sweet.

I know what you mean though. All of the days frustration and stress just goes out the door when I get home and see the faces of my furbabies.

You must do something right - and I don't. Coming home after a week of absence. Had to catch a flight before 7 this morning (which meant getting up in the middle of the night ), came home and nobody stood up from his bed. T. not even risked one eye from the upper cat tree shelf

I hear ya! When the rest of the world is getting on my nerves..all I have to do is pick up my sweet babydoll Julie and snuggle her, and all the rest just fades away. She is so soft, she always smells so nice, her purr just makes it all better. We make eye contact and blink our 'love you's' to each other. I think she understands me.

I come home to loud barking

But it's nice when I get to my room to find Emma sitting on my bed waiting for me to get to her

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.
