    My first "craft"

    As I am not really healthy, I stay home most of the day. Lately, my doctor ordered me to meet more people and do something with my hands.
    I looked around for a while. Then I discovered a hobby-club in a village nearby. Last monday, I made my first project: a decorated egg! Well, it is much larger than an egg, lol. It is about 1/2 meter high. First we decorated the upper part: with used tires!! Then we covered the rest and decorated it. Afyter 3 hours of hard labour ( ), this is the result! Of course, my back is killing me now, but it was worth it!

    OMG!!! That is sooo pretty! I can't believe that has old tires on it!! If that is your first project then I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

    What a great craft!

    I can't believe that weaving at the top is used tires! That looks so cool! Did you do the weaving part too?

    Is that a live plant on there too? Look live!

    Cat condom beds are the round beds with a rim around them That is what we call them in Cat General. Also called carpet condoms. Sorry for the confusion!! I have sent Lut some fabric to sew some of the beds - that is what I was talking about

    The close-ups are beautiful, Lut!! I could not tell what all the tiny objects were before. This looks like alot of work!! Yes, I bet you are proud of all that effort!!
