Ransom, your human is absolutely right: There is no better dog than YOU! Your family is obviously very special, and very blessed, that out of all those people clamoring to take you in, it was THEM who got to open that car door and drive home with you that wonderful day. What a joy-filled experience that must have been for everyone, the day that Ransom came to his home where he was meant to be! It didn't take long for you to prove just what a special and amazing dog you are, your sweet and charismatic nature towards any and all people, your incredible keen intelligence and desire to please, and your joyful attitude towards all that life has to offer. It's no wonder your neighbors dream of "dognapping" you . After meeting you, who wouldn't want to take you home!

Dearest Ransom, I hope you have an EXTRA fun, EXTRA special day today as you celebrate your day in the spotlight, with lots of yummy treats and more belly rubs and cuddling than you can shake a stick at ! Congratulations on being our fantastic Dog of the Day!

Oh Ransom!!! What a handsome hunk you are Now that's what I call a pose...just a hint of lean, long leg, head casually thrown back, that come hither look" on your gorgeous face...Definitely pinup material I've got a beautiful and very excited Husky/Shep named Cody sitting right by my side, taking in your photo and drooling at the sight of you. Perhaps you would consider a long distance romance with an "older" woman? She's a resuce too

You truly are a gem of a pup Ransom and heaven only knows why on earth a dog as handsome, intelligent and loving as you was ever surrendered! As has been said, "THEIR LOSS," for a family couldn't wish for a more loving, loyal and giving best bud than you, Ransom! And how's that for a perfect name? I have no doubt that many have been tempted to "dognap" awesome you!

Yes Petfinder is a fabulous site, helping to pair up so many deserving creatures with loving homes! And Ransom, your family hit the jackpot the day they found you

Enjoy your MUCH deserved day of honor, handsome, precious Ransom! I'll just bet your people are bursting with pride as they see their best boy named our extra special Saturday DOG OF THE DAY! Lots of hugs and kisses, happy tail wags and slurpy licks from Sandra, Cody and Star!

What a handson pup you are. Your family is lucky to have you. Congrats on dotd! (I've a healthy appreciation for a doze like that as many of my college lectures have yet to see more excitable days. The worst part is when your head starts to fall back and you wake up in a rush!)

HI EVERYONE! I am Ransom's owner, thank you for your kind words about my boy! I take great pride in him, seeing as he is like my baby since I'm to young to have children of my own! I love dogs and I really do think he is one hell of a great one! Although I won't allow any of you to steal my Ransom, you are welcome to look at his many, many pictures I have of him on-line, in my signatue thingy. I KNOW I'M OBSESSED!! I've been told many many times. I LOVE taking pictures and he happens to be my most willing subject, lol.

Thanks again for all your kind words and I wish you all lots of love and many happy years with all your pets!!
