Provo Canyon <Nebo pics>

I'm sorry, I know I just posted pictures... but here's some more...

I took Nebo for a walk up Provo Canyon. We went over by Bridal Viel Falls. That used to be a really nice place several years ago, they had a store and even a restaurant way up on the mountain you could take a ski lift type thing to. You could walk right up to the base of the falls and there was a trail that went farther up. But avalanches kept ruining things so now that stuff is all gone, but you can still walk around. It looked like there had been another avalanche as there was a gigantic pile of snow/ice/dirt/trees etc. at the base of the waterfall. Anyway, Nebo got to pose on top of that pile lol so here's some pics:


"Mmmm...avalanche..." He kept eating it, looks yummy huh?

You can see Bridal Viel falls in the background here. It has a lot more water in the summer, most of the water is frozen right now.

Other than the snow/cold...I am so jealous of your scenery! It is so beautiful! I live in a concrete city...of course, there is the beach, but I just feel like that gets old after a while...looks the same all the time. The mountains are just gorgeous!

Miss Hoppy like Christmas-tree water because it tastes sugary - maybe avalanche snow tastes sugary too, from the broken tree bits?

Gorgeous pictures, both of Nebo (always handsome, even WITH a dirty nose) and of the surroundings.

My Dad was stationed near Provo when he was in the military (the base the was at no longer exists on maps, there's just a blank spot where it was), and drove back to visit the area several times after he retired, as he's always regarded it as one of the prettiest places on earth.

Karen, that could be...Nebo loves any snow though apparently it tastes really good.
