"Life is Good: Lessons in Joyful Living" was written by Trixie, the beloved Golden of author Dean Koontz who helped a bit with the "editing."
All proceeds from the sale go to support Canine Companions for Independence, an organization that provides canine assistant to people with disabilities. Trixie is a retired service dog.
I haven't ordered the book yet, it's available at Amazon.com but, from a blurb I read, it's sounds great. Trixie advises to "think of yourself as a movie star" but don't act like one by whinning on TV about the price of fame.
Trixie gets 5000 letters a year in the author's Web site. There's no address for the site in the article I read but I'm sure it can be found in Google.
