    new scratching toy

I brought home a new scratching toy for the crew and they are in it the moment I set it down!! So far - this toy is a huge hit!! Scratching surface on top and a little cave to hide in - though I did not think anyone would fit - it has a ball hanging in there and I thought the idea was just to put a paw in and swat it - not Lizzie!! She thinks it is a play house I think!!

YES! Her own playhouse with a window - she is the only one who fits inside...

    all MINE!!

See the little dangling ball in there?
Great toy as they are enjoying it, scratching like crazy at the top - all the kitties!!

He he, great scratching house!! Would be same story here: Maya would TRY to get inside, but she is "to much cat"( ); Inka would do just like Lizzie: get inside and laugh at Maya-sis!!
I miss you enormously Sydney, Maya, Inka & Zazou Be happy there at the Rainbow Bridge

Just wanted to see the picture

This scratcher looks like FUN! When Marshmallow sharpens her "claws" she just uses the ledge on the sliding glass door. Maybe I should pick up something for her to scratch on? I don't know.

Anyhow, your cats sure are SPOILED!

Lizzie (Elizabeth Barrett) looks exactly like her poetry. Something about those eyes of hers . . . . .

    Sonnet XIV

If thou must love me, let it be for nought
Except for love's sake only. Do not say
I love her for her smile--her look--her way
Of speaking gently,--for a trick of thought
That falls in well with mine, and certes brought
A sense of ease on such a day--
For these things in themselves, Belovèd, may
Be changed, or change for thee,--and love, so wrought,
May be unwrought so. Neither love me for
Thine own dear pity's wiping my cheek dry,--
A creature might forget to weep, who bore
Thy comfort long, and lose thy love thereby!
But love me for love's sake, that evermore
Thou may'st love on, through love's eternity.

Yes, I knew that. I remember when you named them - and that all of your gorgeous cats are named after poets.

There is something about Miss Lizzie - she has an ethereal look about her.
