Does anyone else rescue Ratties from feed bins at the pet stores and have them turn out to be the most wonderful pets ever??
All four of my males have been feeders and have been more loving then I could hope for, I don't think I could have gotten more love from a breeer. (I'm not putting breeders down, as I haven't ever had one, I've always gotten them from feeder bins, maybe ones day I'll get the blue dalmatian I desperately want!)
I read stories about how people abandon hundreds of rats and other animals in houses to die because of this and that reason. Am I the only one that thinks they should die that way themself? How people throw animals out windows of moving cars in hopes of killing unwanted animals. This needs to end!!
I lived on a 10 acre farm in jersey about 8 years ago and used to take in over 15 animals every 6 mons. I found homes for everyone of them, thanks to a mother-in-law working in a hospital! People dropped them off in the woods and they would feed at my house with all my dawgies and cats and deer and assorted animals that would make it to the house for feed. (i didn't grow or raise anything it was wild acrage)
Anyways, I've rambled long enough, sorry..
