My cat is spayed but is bleeding 6 yrs. after !

My cat got spayed about 6 years ago, now she is having vaginal bleeding off and on daily. I am wondering what is going on with her. Any answers?

She needs to be seen by the vet as soon as you can get her in. Does she act uncomfortable or like she's in pain? Are you sure it is vaginal bleeding and not urinary or rectal? Any of them would need medical attention. Good luck and let us know what happens.

See thats the thing, she does not act like anything is bothering her. She acts normal.I have used a tissue and made sure it is coming from her vagina, and it is definitley blood.

Oh, please keep us posted on how your baby is doing. I sure hope she's alright. Silly kitties always pretend that nothing is wrong with them.

my childhood cat, pinto, used to bleed on and off. when we took her to the vets, she said she was totally healthy, just one of those strange things.
