    'Ruffled' Feathers?

Buttons' feathers have started to look a little 'ruffled'. Sort of out of place? I was wondering if it was just because he is molting? OTher than his feathers he acts and looks completely normal.

Thought I'd just check everything out with all the bird experts here on PT!

it's probably because of molting. when Lucy molts he looks pretty rough.

Which feathers are they? the wing feathers? the tail feathers? How old is Buttons? If he is still young, his tail feathers may get sort of ruffled so he can grow new ones. If it is his wing feathers, it is probably because of molting.

Its both, just a few look out of place. But when I was scratching his head last night I saw a few new feathers growing in. And he is still pretty young, I wrote down his birthday somewhere, I hope I didn't lose it!
