My mom's sweet dog Harley crossed the bridge just about an hour ago. She was a 12 year old Pom/Poodle. She had diabetes, and was mostly blind. She stopped eating and drinking a few days ago. She was in the waiting room at the vet this morning and Harley went into seizures, and they couldn’t stop them, so they put her under anesthesia, and got them to stop. They had her on oxygen for a while, but knew her organs were shutting down. They took her off the oxygen, she took one little breath and died quietly.
RIP Harley... I still remember the day you came home, you were so tiny I thought you were a kitten. You've had a wonderful life little lady. Play hard at the bridge, I'm sure you've already meet up with Candy and Mama Kitty, I'm happy you three are all together again.
Until we meet again Harley... watch over us!
Know that when you left this earth, you took a piece of mom's heart... she will miss you like crazy.. we all will.
I love you Harley!
