ok, Pet Talk is one of the 1st things I do every morning even without my 1st cup of coffee, so it has just dawned on me, since I was so taken by the face, I didn't read the whole thing, No wonder that face looked familar...it's my Cody's puppy face! He too is a GR/YL mix! Except for a bit of difference in the ears he has maintained that "look" even at 8 1/2! And those Eyes-the mirror of his soul! No wonder I fell so instantly in love! The best of the 2 Retreivers! Guaranteed you will have a very fulfilling happy life with him-you already know that! Quick as a whip, way too clever sometimes!!!! Smooch, smooch!!

Did you adopt Max from North Shore Animal League in December '99?

The reason I ask, is because I adopted a yellow lab in Dec '99 from North Shore and he had a brother in the same cage with him who was adopted before our dog was. My dog's name is Austin and now he's almost a year old. Anyway, Max looks just like Austin did when he was six weeks old.

Please let me know if you did adopt Max from North Shore in Dec '99, because I truly think Max and Austin are brothers.
