    I found a lump on Clover's chest :(...

I was fussing on Clover today scratching her chest and messing around with her and found a lump, it is about the size of an olive. My heart lept into my throat, because now that she is getting older for a larger dog i worry about lumps starting to pop up now. She is going to the Vets first thing Monday, when Elvis goes in for his check up. Please keep her in your thoughts.

I will keep Clover in my thoughts and prayers. Animals, like people, get all sorts of lumps and they are nothing. We will hope this one is nothing serious. Please give pretty Clover a hug from me.

Try not to worry too much. Duke's got a big lump on one side of his hip. It's normal. So, I hope this lump is normal, too. I know this one scared me because it's huge, about the size of the palm of my hand. I really didn't believe my vet until I saw another older dog that had them on both sides. Let us know what the vet says. Also, it could be a clogged hair follicle that's gotten infected. Duke had that, too. It had to be removed.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Thankyou both. I cannot help but worry, although Clove has been her usual self, eating and exercising like normal. I will keep you updated, and see what the Vet says.

It's probably just a fatty lump, but best to get it checked, anyway. Our Gracie had one on her side, which was very obvious on a flat-coated dog like Dane. Her vet told us it was just a "wen" and it never caused any trouble, just looked silly.

My Dad's 17 yr old fox terrier has a lump bigger than a golf ball on his side. It doesn't bother him and the pathology indicates it's just a fatty tumor, so we've left it. He's so old at this point that removing it could be dangerous. As long as it doesn' hurt, he'll keep it.

Like I told you, I even have one on my arm. No big deal.

    Hope Clover's is nothing, too.
