I feel sorry for the little 6-month-old colt! Now you are pain free and no longer in starvation, you are healthy and have lots of friends! Rest In Peace!

And the other horses, I'm glad that they are now in good hands!
I hope they make a quick recovery! What some people will do astonishes me! Its horrible and worthless!

it IS awful! And I only live less than 10 miles from the Dunlap farm...my boyfriend knows the Menold guy too. I just feel so darn helpless. I wish I could take them all in. I'll keep you updated. Last I heard he wanted to sell the remaining 10 to a Dekalb, IL slaughterhouse to "cut his losses" (the actual owner, not D. Menold) Mr. Menold will not let him do that, I hope!
