    Why Does She Do This??

Emma sometimes still howls, BUT whenever she does it, she usually has a stuffed toy, or is carrying one around.

She even takes them out of the dogs toy box and carries it around and howls, like she has a kitten

    Why does she do this?

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.

Lucky does this all the time with his mousie in his mouth. It is hilarious! Sometimes he also growls when he has it in his mouth

Don't know why, but it sure is fun to watch. As a matter of fact he is currently howling and just brought Mr. Mouse to me. Yes, he brings them to me, drops them at my feet and wants me to toss it so he can "fetch". I think he is part puppy!

My Ritchi does this too. It's hilarious.

I think he thinks it's a realy mouse and he's stalking it and when he catches it, he throws it in the air and plays with it then starts growling at it.

LOL! I'm laughing just thinking about it.

When Bosun howls it's because she's about to hork up a hairball.

Our Louis does this, too. He tosses his foam ball down the stairs, fetches it, and brings it back up the stairs howling like a banshee. Then he drops it at our feet and we praise him.

My Kunan will have long, involved "conversations" with his poofy toys....usually in the middle of the night. It used to cause me to jump out of bed to find him so I could make sure he was ok, but I've become used to the sound of him talking....

Allie does this too! I always know when she has a toy in her mouth...cause it is a strange muffled sound that is present. Out of seven cats..she is the only one.

Snowy sings while carrying his favorite toy. He deposits it by doorways, a sort of summons, for us to come home, or out of that room.

It's the most endearing thing he does.

I, however, do not think it is his materal instinct, he's all boy.
