The baby room: Bulldog cuteness warning!

I am doing a garage-bulldog theme for the baby room. It is going to be so cute.

This is the fabric that we're making the crib set out of:

These are the curtain holders. I am just going to do black scarfs through them.

We are getting Craftsman a chest and workbench that we are using for a dresser and diaper changer. They are black with brushed nickel tops. (We're making a cushion for the diaper changer out of faux black leather.) They look like this:

We're also considering hanging chains, tools, and diamond plated metal around the room. I think it's going to be so cute! Beats the Winnie the Pooh stuff! Hehe.

    Thank you Wolfie!

Wow, that's really awesome! Definitely a break from the usual pastels - I remember reading somewhere that black and white are more visually stimulating for babies than light colors. Those bulldogs are adorable! And, the baby will be able to use his "dresser" way into adulthood!
The legend says that Mohammed adored cats. When one of them was sleeping on his sleeve and he had to go out, Mohammed supposedly cut off the sleeve so as not to disturb his pet.

I originally found it at Joanne's fabric. The store didn't have enough fabric, so I've been searching at all the stores in California and online for a few weeks. But today, I went to a place called Beverly's and found it there. I was so excited. The bummer part was that it was $8.99 a yard at Beverly's and Joanne's had it for only $6.99 a yard. I never realized how expensive it is to make stuff!

I had to take a ton of pictures because my digital camera is lousy. It doesn't zoom out well. I thought I'd update you on Ty's room. My husband's aunt is making the bedding. Here is the material:

His bulldog curtain holders. (My favorite!)

    His crib:

    His work tools:

I swear this mirror looked clean when I took the picture. haha.

This is his "changing table/dresser". It comes in next week. It'll have either a faux black leather or red changing pad on it. It will go under the red mirror.

More pics in the next post...

    Thank you Wolfie!

    Picture above the crib.

    His book shelf:

    The other wall:

I think I'm going to hang chains from the ceiling and then hang teddy bears on them. I can't decide if that's going overboard or not. I clearly remember staring in awe at all the teddy bears on my ceiling when I was little. I want the same effect for Ty.

P.S. Any ideas on what I can do for his mobile?

    Thank you Wolfie!

OMG Tonya... that is way too cool! LOVE the curtain holder! Where on Earth did you find those treasures? The poster looks AWESOME over the crib. Was the mirror custom made? I've never seen one like that.
