    !!Name that Dog!!

This is a picture of my dogs Luna (on the right), Jupiter ( on the left). (Jupiter is luna's puppy.) We got luna from the humain society, and she had puppies shortly after. They are small dogs, weighing about 30 lbs for luna and 26 for jupiter. (Jupiter is only a little over a year so she still might grow.) lol She still needs to grow some legs. lol

Any idea what type of dogs they could be?

Well-mixed mix! If they were bigger, I's guess some Lab or Flat-Coated Retriever in there ...

But maybe part schipperke, part spaniel of some sort?

    I know! Cute Black Doggie!

We thought a lab terrier cross, plus she has the characteristics of a good hunting dog. The humain society we rescued her from, called her a ??siberian husky mix??. We are really stumped, because she comes from Yellowknife in the North West Territories. There were about 40 other dogs rescued at the same time. All the other dogs were big dogs like siberian husky. She just didn't fit in.

jagd terrier were common in Northern Canada, they brought by german merchants to help hunt rabbits and fox, the tail was used by the hunter to pull the dog out of the hole after it had cornered the prey. The bigger one has a perfect "handle" Tail.

Jagd terriers weight 20-30 lbs so it looks like it may be in there.

I see terrier and lab also...they also look like they could be some kind of Finnish Spitz or other breed like that, such as samoyd or something. Whatever they are, they sure are really cute!!!

    Thanks Kay!!

I would have to guess that there is lab in there. And possibly a little american eskimo or maybe some husky but the coat on the smaller one looks a little too fluffy to be husky.
Do they have purple in their mouth at all cause there might be some chow, by the looks of the tail.

I havn't noticed any purple in their mouths. Where would I see it, on the gums, roof of the mouth or tongue?

When someone asks me what type of dog, I just reply " lab terrier cross, plus collie in the little one" it's easier than explaining the whole story, of what I might think they are.

    They are good little mutts!

One of the other dogs from the litter looks like it could be part corgi.
