    lynnuk,

You need to get your cat to the vet ASAP. Do you have an emergency vet where you are?? Your kitty is in distress. Do NOT wait another minute!

Get your cat to a veterinarian immediately. She is in need of medical care - that's what she means by distress.

    How old is your cat?

Your cat needs to see a vet now! She WILL die without help from a professional. There are no vets here, but lots of animal lovers that are hoping you'll do right by your cat. Two years old is too young to die.

I'm so sorry. Feline leukemia is a terrible disease.

I hope you can find it in your heart to change your mind someday about getting another cat. Your Rainbow angel may just make the arrangements.

    Lynnuk,

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. He's in a better place now and isn't suffering anymore. You did the right thing.

I'm sorry to be brash, but ... how can anyone in good conscience get on the computer and be typing away while this is going on for WEEKS? A pet that is bleeding from anywhere internal needs a vet immediately. I am VERY sorry that this poor kitty had leukemia and it is probably best that it had to be given a helping hand to the Rainbow Bridge. I am probably going to get a lot of flak over this, it just shocks me that this had to go on for weeks ...

No flak here...You have just written what some have been thinking themselves, including me, but didn't have the courage to write it.
